Copies you can prove.

Harbour is a file manager for the Mac that queues your copies, checks every byte on the way to a card, drive or NAS, and can undo the lot. Finder was never built for that.

Free 14-day trial. macOS 26, Apple Silicon. Notarised by Apple.

One queue, a checksum per file, an Undo that outlives the job.

How a copy works.

1

Queue

Every job waits its turn, so a NAS never gets hammered by six copies at once.

2

Copy

Reads and writes stream in parallel; a stuck folder never freezes the window.

3

Verify

Removable and network destinations are checksummed file by file before Harbour calls it done.

4

Done, and undoable

The Activity log keeps every transfer with a reason, and Undo puts things back.

Built for the days when files matter.

After the shoot

The card comes out of the camera and goes straight to the NAS. Harbour queues every file, writes it, then reads it back and compares checksums before the job is marked done. When the ledger says verified, the card is safe to format — you are not taking Finder's word for it.

Press night

Four hours of recording, two destinations, one button. A quick action copies the night's files to the NAS and to an external drive, names them the way the show wants them, and verifies both copies. The Activity log keeps the whole run, so you can say what landed where.

The Downloads folder

Rules that file things for you are coming in 1.1. Harbour 1.0 ships the manual half: two panes, Copy to, Move to, the Drop Stack, and batch rename with a live preview. The sorter is built but not finished, so it is not in this release.
