Refund policy

Last updated 3 October 2026

Fourteen days, no questions. If Harbour is not what you needed, say so within 14 days of buying and you get your money back.

The policy

Every Harbour licence can be refunded in full within 14 days of purchase, for any reason or for none. You do not have to explain yourself and you do not have to prove a fault. After 14 days we will still look at a fair request — a licence that never worked on your Mac, say — but the no-questions window is 14 days.

How to ask

Either reply to the receipt email Paddle sent you and ask for a refund, or email support@fableforge.uk with the transaction id from that receipt (it begins txn_). Paddle's own buyer help site, paddle.net, can also find your order from your email address and the last four digits of your card.

How the money comes back

Paddle.com Market Ltd is the merchant of record for every Harbour order, so Paddle processes the refund and it returns to the card or account you paid with. Paddle is usually quick about it; your bank can take a further 5–10 working days to show the credit.

What happens to your licence key

When we refund you, your licence ends and we delete the licence record, so the recovery page will no longer hand the key back. Harbour checks licence keys offline, so a key you have already entered will not stop working on its own: by accepting a refund you agree to remove Harbour from your Macs. If you buy again later you get a new key.

Your statutory rights

If you are a consumer, the Consumer Rights Act 2015 entitles you to a repair, a replacement or a refund where digital content is not as described, not fit for purpose or not of satisfactory quality. This policy sits on top of those rights and does not replace them.

The statutory 14-day right to cancel an online purchase does not survive the immediate supply of digital content that you consented to at checkout, and your licence key is supplied the moment the payment clears — which is precisely why we run this policy voluntarily instead. The full wording is in the terms.
